We are committed to protecting the personal information you choose to share with us. Below is our privacy guarantee and some additional information about how we gather information about our registered users, why we gather it, and what we do with it.
Audit Integrity reserves the right to amend this statement at any time. We encourage our users and visitors to regularly review this Privacy Policy for any such changes. Your continued use of this web site after we have posted changes to the Privacy Policy indicates your agreement to the amended terms of this Privacy Policy.
Information Collection
When you utilize the Audit Integrity website, you are required to complete a registration containing personal information, including your e-mail address. Our interface also allows users to upload their own collection of proprietary information to be stored by Audit Integrity ("Uploaded Information"). Audit Integrity may access the Uploaded Information for the purpose of resolving a problem, addressing a support issue, or addressing a suspected violation of our Terms of Use. By providing Audit Integrity with User Information and by placing Uploaded Information into our system, you are agreeing that we may securely store, process and review such information for those purposes. We will, however, not sell or disclose User Information or Uploaded Information, unless required to do so by law.
Audit Integrity has put security and back-up procedures in place to protect Uploaded Information. However, in the unlikely event there is a loss or corruption of Uploaded Information, Audit Integrity is not responsible or liable for such loss or corruption. We encourage our users to retain copies of all Uploaded Information on their own systems.
Why do we ask for personal information about you?
Our ultimate goal at Audit Integrity is to provide you with a set of financial information to assist you in gathering information about companies and industries that you are interested in. Many of the features on our site will be more beneficial to you if you customize the way they work and what they contain, and then can return to your personalized version each time you come back to the site. Our Alert system is the most obvious example of this type of feature. To support this personalization we need to be able to identify your account from session to session. This requires that you provide us with some individually identifiable information about yourself. Your user email address and password allow us to differentiate you from other users and maintain your personalized version of the site.
What information do we gather?
The only individually identifiable information that we collect about you is that which you choose to share with us in registration and billing. This information will be closely protected and used for internal purposes only. We will never willfully release your personal information to any third party unless you direct us to do so, or unless required by law. We also collect information about aggregate site usage. Statistics that we gather about unique visits, repeat visits and page views are all based on IP address, not on your individual activities.
Like many other commercial websites, the Audit Integrity website or its advertisers may utilize a standard technology called a "cookie" (a harmless file temporarily kept on your computer's hard drive) to collect information about how our site is used. In order to access our site, the "cookies" setting on your browser must be enabled. Audit Integrity uses cookies ONLY to maintain the user's session while on our site. No identifiable or demographic information is kept on the cookie.
Audit Integrity Database
Only publicly available information appears in the Audit Integrity database. It is possible that information about you and your Company may appear in the Audit Integrity database, which is accessible to all of our users. User Information and Uploaded Information are not commingled with the Database Information and cannot be viewed by other users. Any personal information pertaining to you or your Company which may appear in the database has been retrieved from publicly available sources and may be displayed or sold by Audit Integrity as a part of our service.
Will we ever send you email?
We may employ User Information to contact customers regarding service updates, additional services we may have to offer and other general information about Audit Integrity. Again, we will, however, not sell or disclose User Information or Uploaded Information, unless required to do so by law.
